The Hana ʻImi Naʻauao Scholarship program was re-established in 2024 and is sponsored by Nā Moku Aupuni ʻo Koʻolau Hui, to provide post-high scholarships to those pursuing a degree from an accredited university, college, technical or vocational school or certificate program. Awards vary anywhere from $1,000 to $2,000, or more and will be for the School Year 2025-2026.

The deadline to apply is June 30, 2025.

Eligibility Requirements – APPLICANTS MUST:

  • be Native Hawaiian and a lineal descendant of Keʻanae-Wailuanui, and/or current resident of Keʻanae-Wailuanui.

  • have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.

  • have been accepted and planning to enroll in an accredited university, college, technical or vocational

    school or certificate program for the upcoming academic year, 2025-2026.

  • demonstrate active participation in community service or leadership activities.

  • demonstrate financial need
